Next to a beautiful waterfall and river, creating a serene atmosphere. the camping pods were new, pleasant, and provided a unique and enjoyable experience. - the hot tubs were a great addition and perfect for relaxation. - There were many attractions for both children and those young at heart, such as troll statues and a huge chessboard. - the location was not far from Keflavik/Reykjavik, making it convenient to access.
There was nothing that I disliked about my stay at this hotel.

Great value for money, the Camping Pods were cozy and romantic with a comfortable bed and a lovely sitting area. The location next to a big waterfall was beautiful and there were plenty of activities for kids like the Trolls Garden. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.
The breakfast offerings could be improved with a wider variety of options.

the pods were warm and lovely, with great amenities like a kitchen, living room, and even hot pots. The owner played vinyl albums at the bar/restaurant, which was a unique and enjoyable experience. We were lucky to see the northern lights during our two-night stay.
Low shower block roof, dangerous.

The camping pod we stayed in was surprisingly spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised by the size and coziness of the pod. the heating was perfect and we didn't even need any extra blankets. the staff at the hotel were very nice and accommodating.
The bathroom was a bit of a walk away from the pod, so if you have to go in the middle of the night, it can be a bit inconvenient. It might be helpful to know that the showers have European handles and bosses, so if you're not familiar with them, it might be useful to ask for help on how to use them.

I recently stayed at Fossatun Camping Pods & Cottages for a few nights and it was an amazing experience. The camping pod was incredibly cosy and I had the best night's sleep in Iceland. The facilities were great, with three big and nice hot tubs that were perfect for relaxing. The location was also ideal, close to Borgarnes and many other sights in Iceland. The staff was friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for its value, location, and facilities.
Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

We spent our New Year's holiday here and had a blast! The location was perfect for experiencing the beautiful nature of the area. We were surrounded by stunning waterfalls and the troll garden was a unique touch. The cabins themselves were cozy and had everything we needed. Plus, the breakfast room had breathtaking views of the waterfalls. It was a magical experience.
There were a few downsides to our stay. there were no screens on the windows, so we couldn't keep them open at night without worrying about bugs.

The camping pods at Fossatun were incredibly cute and cozy. The shared kitchen was clean and well-equipped, perfect for preparing our own meals. The hot tubs were a delightful way to relax after a day of exploring. The troll garden walk was a unique and enjoyable experience. it was a wonderful, romantic getaway.
One slight downside was that the restaurant was closed, but we made do by buying groceries from the shop and using the shared kitchen. Additionally, the beds in the pods were not very comfortable, but they were adequate for a short stay.

The location of the accommodation was absolutely stunning, with beautiful surroundings and a breathtaking view of the waterfall. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, providing us with great assistance in planning our tours. We also enjoyed the hot tubs in the evening, which was a perfect way to relax after a long day of exploring.
There were not enough toilets available, which caused some inconvenience. we found that some of the kitchen utensils could have been cleaner, which was a bit disappointing.

The camping pods were extremely clean, comfortable, and watertight. The kitchen cabin was well-equipped and the showers and bathrooms were clean and stocked with toiletries. The bbq area was a great addition for dinner and the restaurant provided a very good breakfast. The surrounding area was family-friendly with lots of folklore stories and sculptures. The geothermal heated hot tubs were a fun touch and offered a wonderful view of the snow-capped mountains and waterfalls.
Felt really comfortable, no complaints whatsoever.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Camping Pods & Cottages in a beautiful area. the cabins offered excellent value for money and had a charming atmosphere. It was clear that a lot of effort had gone into creating this hidden gem with its unique theme. the beds were very comfortable, and the shared kitchen was spacious enough to accommodate multiple guests cooking at the same time. One of my favorite features was the hot tubs, which provided a perfect way to relax after a long day of exploring. I highly recommend this place for a memorable stay. Cons: Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like! 😊.
